Okay, I enjoy Tumblr... it's a porn machine... BUT I have some an issue with people who re-post pictures on there without permission. I find some blogs are taking my pictures from here and uploading them there, despite the requests I've made not to do this.
What it all comes down to is privacy. I post pictures on here because of the limited audience. Tumblr is a free-for-all to the entire public and is definitely not a place I want to see my own face staring back at me. It's the same reason I don't post videos on Youtube. It's too much coverage.
So, this is another request by me to all those blog owners out there - stop posting my pictures.
Thank you.
ever thought of putting watermarks on your photos?
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to make this blog more private, limit it to just trusted friends and admirers. Not sure if that is possible, and I'd hate to lose access, but I also hate the thought of you feeling uncomfortable and hesitant posting because of these invasions of your privacy.

please post on grommr
ReplyDeleteHey guys,
ReplyDeleteI've thought about doing watermarks, but it already takes too long to upload pictures, and just adds more identity to the pictures.
As for limiting the blog, I'd rather keep it open. I don't know most people anyways, so I can't really judge trust that way.
In the end, I think for the most part, people aren't posting my pictures with the intent to do anything bad. I like knowing that there are people out there who enjoy my body - I just have an issue with posting on such a broad market like Tumblr and the youtubes. If the internet was a real place, I'd be the little basement shop off of a fat-oriented red light district... not in Times Square. hehe
As for posting on Grommr - I've reached the limit of the number of pictures I can post on there... sorry! hehe
I've had problems with my stuff showing up on Tumblr too. It's annoying because people think they have all rights to your photos just because you chose to post it to a specific place. Thankfully, Tumblr is very good at getting photos removed that have been posted without your permission. Just send an email to support@tumblr.com with a photo of you holding a sign that says "Tumblr this is me" to confirm your identity and give them the links with the photos - they'll remove them usually the same day :).
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why people repost things that you specifically ask them not to do, Do they need wank off material that badly?
